Donation of School Bags to 140 Needy Students in Jalandhar, Punjab

Under the CSR initiative of Muthoot Finance, 140 school bags were distributed on 31^st May 2025 to needy students at Government Primary School, Radio Colony, Jalandhar, Punjab.

The distribution was done by Mr. Harjeet Singh, Regional Manager Jalandhar, in the presence of Mrs. Gurpreet Kaur, Head Teacher of the school, Mr. Tarun Bhandari, Deputy Manager Marketing, Mr. Jasmeet Singh, RBDO along with other teachers and students.

The initiative aimed to support the children from economically disadvantaged families by providing school bags and encouraging students to pursue education with greater enthusiasm and confidence.

Mrs. Gurpreet Kaur expressed heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the school and the children, stating, “This kind gesture by Muthoot Finance has brought joy to our students and eased the burden on many families. Such support plays a key role in strengthening education in underserved communities”.
