Muthoot Finance Leads the Way in Elephant Conservation

As a part of our unwavering commitment towards sustainability and wildlife conservation, under Muthoot Finance's CSR initiative ‘Haathi Mera Saathi’, a state-of-the-art CCTV surveillance system has been installed by providing 15 CCTV Cameras to protect and monitor elephants at Hathi Gaon, Jaipur, Rajasthan.

The inaugural ceremony was conducted on 14^th June 25 by Mr. Shakil Ahmed, Regional Manager Jaipur, in the presence of Ms. Prachi Choudhary, RFS Assistant Conservator of Forest Wildlife ZOO Jaipur, Mr. Gaurav Kumar, Regional Forest Officer, Flying Squad ZOO Jaipur, Mr. Sonu Gaund, Sr. Manager CSR West Zone.

This initiative will be very helpful in enhancing round-the-clock monitoring of elephant corridors and habitats, preventing human-elephant conflict through real-time alerts and interventions, supporting concerned authorities and wildlife conservationists with critical monitoring data, etc.

These advanced CCTV cameras will also be helpful in taking a big step towards preserving our national heritage and ensuring that these majestic creatures can roam safely and freely.

Approximately 70 Elephants will be monitored and protected through this initiative.
