Eye Screening Camp Held for Fisherman Community in Chennai

Muthoot Finance in association with Aruvi Trust has organized a free eye screening camp for the benefit of the fishing community at Kottivakkam, Chennai. Around 250 people were screened at the event which had a significant population of fishermen and free spectacles were distributed to around 140 people who had refractive errors. Shri. Balaji - Regional Manager, Chennai Central Region and Shri. Chandrasekar - Joint Secretary Chennai Suburban Fisherman Wing, ADMK Party and Ex- Fisherman Co-operative Society participated in the eye screening camp. Such CSR initiatives of Muthoot Finance are intended to provide healthcare access to less privileged people in society.
