Individual Social Responsibility (ISR) Initiative: SWACHHATA HI SEVA – Mega Cleanliness Drive 2025 at M.G. George Muthoot Towers, Corporate Office North, New Delhi

"Ek Din, EkGhanta, EkSaath – Shramdaan for Cleanliness"

On the occasion of the 156th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi Ji, the Father of the Nation,   Corporate Office (North) team came together for the “SWACHHATA HI SEVA – Mega Cleanliness Drive” held on 2nd October 2025, under the national theme of Swachhotsav.

This impactful initiative was led by our respected Joint Managing Director Sir, Shri Alexander George Muthoot and was organized by the CSR CO(N) team.

More than 80 dedicated Muthootians enthusiastically participated in the drive on a voluntary basis, representing various departments such as Audit & Inspection, Credit & Recovery, CSR, Admin, OFP, IT, Marketing, JMD Office, Human Resources, Finance, among others.

Adding a heartwarming dimension to the initiative, five young children also participated, including Baby Araila, daughter of our respected JMD Sir — symbolizing that the spirit of cleanliness and community service transcends age.

As part of the drive, volunteers cleaned and removed garbage, debris, and pollutants from in and around the parking areas of Muthoot Towers I, II, and III. The collective efforts led to the collection of 86 garbage bags, which were responsibly handed over to the MCD garbage compactor.

Before starting the event, T-shirts and caps duly branded were distributed to all volunteers. The drive concluded on a gracious note with the distribution of refreshment packets by Respected JMD Sir and Baby Araila, as a gesture of appreciation for the volunteers' dedication.

This initiative was a humble tribute to the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi Ji, promoting a culture of cleanliness, environmental consciousness, and community service. It aligns with the core values of Muthoot Finance’s Individual Social Responsibility (ISR) and supports the national Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

Moreover, it reinforces The Muthoot Group’s commitment to a plastic-free, waste-free, and pollution-free environment, while encouraging sustainable practices and enhancing employee engagement through ISR-led efforts.
