Muthoot Finance Extends Mobility Support to Paraplegic Youth in Thiruvananthapuram

Muthoot Finance has extended support to a paraplegic youth from Kattakada in Thiruvananthapuram by providing a wheelchair with an electrically equipped scooter to assist in his daily mobility and rehabilitation needs.

The assistive device was handed over by George Jacob Muthoot as part of the Founder’s Day celebrations held at the Chairman’s Office in Thiruvananthapuram.

Sidharth, who sustained a severe spinal cord injury in an accident four-and-a-half years ago, is 75% paraplegic and has limited mobility below the hip. He had been relying on an electrically equipped scooter with an attached wheelchair for commuting to his PSC coaching classes and pursuing employment opportunities. However, the device was recently damaged, making it difficult for him to continue his routine independently.

Recognizing his situation, Muthoot Finance stepped in to provide a new wheelchair, helping restore his mobility and enabling him to continue his studies and job search with greater independence and confidence.

Through such initiatives, Muthoot Finance continues to demonstrate its commitment to inclusive support and community welfare, empowering individuals to lead more independent and dignified lives.
