TANKER & KERALA KIDNEY RESEARCH FOUNDATION AWARD

Muthoot Finance has instituted an award of Rs.200,000. in cash and a citation in memory of our Founder Chairman Late M. George Muthoot to be presented every year to the best young researcher in Nephrology. In the year 2010 the award was given to Dr. Narayan Prasad from Lucknow. In the year 2011, the award was presented to Dr. Arpana Iyengar of Chennai. In the year 2012 the award was presented to Dr. P.V. Laxmi from Hyderabad. This award is a reflection of the concern Muthoot Finance has for the millions who are suffering from various kidney-related diseases. Apart from this award through the M.George Foundation assistance for Dialysis is given to thousands of patients. The M.George Foundation now has arrangements with various hospitals in providing dialysis. The letters received from these hospitals are an indication of the quantum of assistance given in this field.
