Muthoot CSR Distributes Sewing Machines in Mumbai to Support Women’s Livelihood

Muthoot Finance, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, organized sewing machine distribution programmes in Mumbai at Powai and Mankhurd, in collaboration with Vidya NGO and PATH NGO.

A total of 15 sewing machines were distributed to economically vulnerable women, including members of TB-affected families, to support sustainable livelihood opportunities and income generation.

The beneficiaries expressed gratitude, highlighting that the initiative would enable them to start or expand their tailoring work and strengthen their household income. Representatives from the partner NGOs also appreciated the effort, noting that livelihood-based interventions create long-term grassroots impact and promote women’s self-reliance.

Through such initiatives, Muthoot Finance continues to empower women and support inclusive economic development at the community level.
