Muthoot Finance Establishes Smart Computer Classroom in Hooghly, West Bengal

As part of its ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, Muthoot Finance established a Muthoot Smart Computer Classroom at Akuni B G Biharilal Institute in Hooghly, West Bengal, on 17th January 2026. The classroom has been equipped with five computer systems to enhance digital learning and provide students with access to modern educational resources.

The computer systems were formally handed over by the Cluster Manager of the Howrah Region to the Head Teacher in the presence of Muthoot Finance representatives, school authorities, teachers, and students. This initiative aims to strengthen the school’s digital infrastructure and support technology-enabled education.

The newly established Smart Computer Classroom is expected to benefit approximately 2,177 students, enabling them to develop essential computer skills and improve their access to digital education. This initiative reflects Muthoot Finance’s continued commitment to promoting education, digital inclusion, and community development through impactful CSR programs across India.
