Muthoot Finance Supports Farmers in Uttar Pradesh with Solar Sprayer Machines

Muthoot Finance provided 25 hand-cum-solar sprayer machines to small and marginal farmers in Jalaun district, Uttar Pradesh, reinforcing its focus on strengthening rural livelihoods through meaningful CSR interventions. The initiative was carried out in partnership with Anuragini NGO.

Access to efficient and affordable equipment remains a key challenge for many farmers. By introducing solar-powered sprayers, the initiative helps reduce dependence on manual labour while enabling more efficient and uniform crop spraying. The use of solar energy also lowers recurring costs and encourages environmentally responsible farming practices.
