MUTHOOT ANBIN NIZHAL PROJECT

Muthoot Finance Ltd, India's largest gold loan company’s Corporate Social Responsibility wing Muthoot M George Foundation inaugurated its initiative ‘Muthoot Anbin Nizhal Project’ in Coimbatore on 11/04/2015. The healthcare outreach mobile program is part of one of the Corporate Social Responsibility activities that the company will be undertaking in FY 2015-16.

The project encompasses of a High Tech Mobile Ambulance which will help in the prevention and early detection of kidney-related diseases, diabetes, and hypertension ailments. The mobile ambulance will travel across Coimbatore educating people about the dreaded disease.

The official inauguration of ‘Muthoot Anbin Nizhal’ was done by Mr. P. Rajkumar, Honorable Mayor of Coimbatore City Corporation along with Mr. George M Jacob, Director, The Muthoot Group. Mr. Vijay Kathikeyan IAS, Commissioner and Dr. Santosh Kumar, Chief Health Officer of Coimbatore Corporation were also present on this occasion.

The mobile ambulance will hold an exclusive camp in districts of Tamil Nadu, where the blood sample of inhabitants will be taken and tested for possible kidney related diseases. At the end of the camp there would be an awareness session conducted, which will provide information about the prevention and treatment of the disease. The camps will be organised with the help of local agencies, clubs, etc. The results will be categorised as A, B & C. The results of ‘A’ category are absolutely fine. With ‘B’ category results, we recommend to consult the doctor and ‘C’ category should meet the doctor. We will follow up with people who fall under ‘C’ category for any extended medical help and support.
