THE MUTHOOT GROUP ANNOUNCES ASSOCIATION WITH HERO INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE FOR THE THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR

New Delhi, 30th September, 2016: The Muthoot Group, one of Indias leading business conglomerates, announced its continued association as the official Referee and Fair Play Sponsor of Hero Indian Super League (HISL) for the third consecutive year.

Unveiling the coveted Muthoot Group Fair Play Award Trophy designed attractively in the shape of a gold coloured whistle, Alexander George Muthoot, Director, The Muthoot Group said: “The significance of the trophy is that it represents the concept of Fair Play and the innate values of our brand and the game. Celebrating the spirit of football and fair play, The Muthoot Group has created an inspiring Muthoot Fair Play Anthem and Pledge in a video , that features marquee players from each team performing a signature step to the rhythmic beats of the Muthoot Anthem, with few accompanying moves by the rest of the players. This is to be telecast over numerous channels including Star Sports and other network channels.

To commemorate the League, The Muthoot Group is also producing attractive limited edition HISL gold coins with The Muthoot Group Fair Play Award and Official Referee Partner - HISL logo on the face of the coin and The Muthoot Group logo on the obverse, making it a collectors item and a prized gift in the forthcoming festive season. The Muthoot and HISL Special Gold Coin Launch will also be telecast on pre match show before the commencement of the league.

The eleven-week football league, scheduled from 1 October to18 December 2016, will feature Indian and international players in eight teams playing 61 matches in eight cities across the country.
