Installation of 35 Solar Lights at Dhana- Manesar, Haryana & Todarpur, Varanasi Uttar Pradesh
Under the Green CSR initiative of The Muthoot Group, 35 Solar Street Lights were installed at Dhana Village (20 Solar Lights), Manesar, Haryana & Todarpur Village (15 Solar Street Lights), Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
These Solar Street Lights are now the source of quality illumination in both the villages during power cuts in evening hours.
Solar Street Lights handed over to Gram Panchayat, Todarpur in the presence of Local MLA Dr. Sunil Patel, Varansai, UP and at Dhana, Manesar in the presence of Gram Pradhan, Mr. Praveen Kumar.
Muthoot Finance was awarded the Golden Peacock Award for Corporate Social Responsibility for FY: 21-22 by the Institute of Director’s (I.O.D) at a glittering ceremony in Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi, on 3rd June 2022.
Mr. Arjun Ram Meghwal (Honourable Union Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Culture, Govt. of India) presented the award to Mr. Alexander George Muthoot (Joint Managing Director- The Muthoot Group) in the presence of Mr. Manoj Joshi (Secretory Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs, Govt. of India).
This Golden Peacock award was given to Muthoot Finance for the best CSR practices in the category of Financial Services.
