Muthoot M George Excellence award 2015 for 10th standard toppers of Government schools in Telangana was inaugurated and distributed by Mr. Eapen Alexander Muthoot, Director, The Muthoot Group along with Mr. Somi Reddy, District Educational Officer, Hyderabad. As part of it’s CSR activities Muthoot Finance has renovated the Eye Block of General Hospital, Ernakulam. The inauguration was done by Prof K.V Thomas Honorable M P along with Mr. George Alexander Muthoot, Managing Director, The Muthoot Group. As part of CSR activities of Muthoot Finance we have inaugurated Harithateeram Arogya Gramam project at Chellanam. This project is to develop Chellanam Village by giving educational assistance to children, training and counseling to students, construction of rain water harvesting & toilet, marriage assistance, etc. We have already supported Chellanam Village by giving grow bags for producing fresh produce.

Muthoot Aashiyana is a project implemented for the construction of 200 houses for the flood victims in Kerala. The construction of the houses is planned in the worst flood-affected areas like Paravoor, Alwaye, Chengannoor, Aaranmula, Thiruvalla, Kozhencherry, Kuttanad, Kumarakom, Thodupuzha, Malapuram, Chellanam, Trichur and Idukki.

The official inauguration of the project was done by His Holiness Baselios Mar Thoma Paulose II Catholicos of the East & Malankara Metropolitan. Inauguration of 'Muthoot Anbin Nizhal' project in Chennai was done by Hon'ble Justice (Retd.) B Rajendran (Chairman of Real Estate Appellate Tribunal) and Mr. George M Jacob, Executive, Director, Muthoot Finance Ltd. Muthoot Anbin Nizhal is a project which combines a mobile laboratory, intended for prevention, early detection and awareness of Kidney related diseases, and supporting dialysis patients by financial aid.
