Under the CSR initiative of the Muthoot Finance, 100 woolen blink blankets and shawls were distributed to the widows in association with Maitri Widows Homes at Vrindavan, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh.

Vrindavan the city of temples is also known as the city of women in white. Women in white aka widows of Vrindavan, is a unique population, living in Vrindavan.

A woman and most of all a mother, is given a bowl to beg on the streets by the family and the community, rendering her disempowered and destitute.

Under the CSR initiative of Muthoot Finance, 250 woolen blink blankets were distributed to the needy, poor, old, homeless and widows in association with IIM Bodh Gaya, Bihar.

The distribution was done by Prof. Vinita S. Sahay, Director of IIM Bodh Gaya; Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Chief Manager Marketing- Regional Office Varanasi; in the presence of Dr. Johnson Minz, Chairperson IIM CSR committee; Dr. Suresh KG, Member of IIM CSR committee; Mr. Ranjeev, Village Mukhiya and around 300 villagers.

Under the CSR initiative of Muthoot Finance, 2200 notebooks were distributed to the tribal students of Primary School at Jajpur, Odisha.

The distribution of note books was done by Mr. Tanmay Kumar Biswal, Deputy Regional Manager- Bhubaneswar in the presence of Mrs. Monorama Acharya, President of Tribal Primary School; Mr. Basanta Das, Principal, other Teachers and students.

This initiative will be very helpful for tribal students and around 220 students will be benefited.

Under the ISR initiative undertaken by the Corporate Office employees. In a spirit of compassion and community engagement, our team generously donated 57 cartons of usable clothes, blankets, and shoes.
