“I, Kaptan Singh, belong to Karnal, Haryana. My priority has always been to educate people and nothing has been more important in my life than this. I was a partner in one of the prestigious schools in my area for a major part of my life and I got great pleasure in making education accessible to all the people in my area. However, life took a harsh turn for me, when I was ousted from this partnership for no fault of mine. Since it was an organisation that I was associated with for many years, the separation from it hurt me a lot.

However, this incident did not dishearten me. I was determined to make education accessible to one and all in my area. Therefore, I quickly recouped myself and decided to start from scratch. I realised that starting a school on my own was the only way in which I could keep my passion alive. But I was also aware that such a venture would require huge investments. I didn’t have the means for that and so, I decided to explore external financial institutions for help.

What I thought would be an easy process turned out to be a rather long and tiresome exercise for me. I approached many banks in and around my area.
