Muthoot Brain & Spine Centre conducted Neurology Update - 2014 on April 6, 2014 the first-ever Neurological CME to be conducted in Pathanamthitta. This conference focused on the most significant and relevant topics facing clinicians in the field of Neurology in a multi-specialty forum. The conference attracted leading specialists from renowned hospitals in Kerala.
On March 29, a Free Medical Camp was conducted at Mar Thoma Church Auditorium, Kuzhikkala. Participating specialties comprised the Departments of Medicine, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Gynaecology and General Surgery, MGMMMC, Kozhencherry. The camp generated a substantial number of patients.

The Muthoot Group sponsored an undertaking by college students in Delhi to provide solar-powered lamps to street vendors as an alternative to the gas-powered lamps or generator-powered bulbs. There are over 200,000 hawkers in the Delhi/NCR area. Many of them have to shell out between Rs.1200 – Rs.1800 for renting light bulbs or gas lamps from local vendors. This amount isn’t always feasible for the hawkers which is why The Muthoot Group sponsored an initiative that gave street hawkers a solar-powered lamp for their businesses for only Rs.
One of the most aggressive Indian cricketers, Virender Sehwag inaugurated the second season of ‘Paul George Memorial Tournament’. The tournament was organized by Muthoot Group, one of India’s largest financial groups, at St. George’s School in Alaknanda, New Delhi.
