Muthoot Finance has instituted an award of Rs.200,000. in cash and a citation in memory of our Founder Chairman Late M. George Muthoot to be presented every year to the best young researcher in Nephrology. In the year 2010 the award was given to Dr. Narayan Prasad from Lucknow. In the year 2011, the award was presented to Dr. Arpana Iyengar of Chennai. In the year 2012 the award was presented to Dr. P.V. Laxmi from Hyderabad.
