Why Timely Car Insurance Policy Renewal is Necessary?
Here is why renewing your car insurance on time is crucial:
Legal Compliance : Driving without a valid car insurance policy is illegal in India. Renewing on time keeps you compliant with the Motor Vehicles Act and avoids penalties from traffic police
Financial Security : With a valid policy, your insurer covers repair costs and third-party liabilities if your car is damaged or causes injury. Without coverage, you'll have to pay these expenses out of pocket.
No Claim Bonus Retention : If you renew your policy within 90 days of expiry, you can retain your accumulated No Claim Bonus (NCB). An NCB is a discount on your car insurance premium for claim-free years.
Continued Coverage : Renewing your policy before it expires ensures continuous coverage for your vehicle. If you let your policy lapse, you won't have any protection.
